Final report published!

Consumer Justice Enforcement Forum II project (CoJEF II) came to an end. It received funding from the European Commission’s specific programme civil justice 2007-2013, established a network of consumer organisations, academics and legal practitioners in order to share their experiences in (cross-border) enforcement of consumer rights.

CoJEF was run by BEUC in partnership with ten of our members:

It also counted on the academic support of Professors Hans W. Micklitz (European University Institute), Evelyne Terryn (KU Leuven) and Geraint Howells (Universities of Manchester and Hong Kong).

Its final report entitled "Enforcement of consumer rights: Strategies and recommendations", provides for a set of recommendations to improve the enforcement of consumer law at national and EU level, especially with the view of the work of consumer associations.
